A Natural Clean Toilet: How to Unclog Naturally
Having a clogged toilet can be very messy and a real pain! This is why it’s so tempting to clear it up quickly with a chemical drain cleaner. However, this cleaner is very bad for the environment, leaking into our water supplies. The good news is that there are a number of natural clean options for you to use to get rid of the clog.
1. Flush Again: if you’ve only tried to flush it once, simply turn the water off and flush again. This usually works in many situations.
2. Plunger: This can help to release what’s clogging the toilet.
3. Plumber Snake: This can help to create a whole in the clog, making sure it goes away.
4. Hot Water: Fill a bucket with very hot water and pour it down the toilet. Often this can dissolve whatever’s causing the clog, it can also help to force it through. Only do this if the toilet won’t overflow.
5. Baking Soda: This also should be done when there’s enough room in the toilet bowl. Pour a cup of baking soda and a cup of vinegar into the blockage, followed by got water. This can cause a reaction which will get rid of the clog.
6. Soap: Pour down your soap and boiling water into the toilet (make sure it’s an eco-friendly soap). Leave it for a while and then the clog should be able to break free.
7. Rubber Gloves: This is usually a last resort, but try putting on long rubber gloves and dealing with the clog by hand.
Getting a natural clean toilet may take a little more effort than using a chemical cleaner, but it’s worth it in terms of how much you’ll be helping the environment.
